Every year I do a camping trip to the Abercombie national PK area between Goulburn and Oberon
I post this on this site as in previous years as a AMVCS rally some 101s and other have landrover nuts come along.
There are old posts on these trips in the 101 and military vehicles section.
The AMVCS do not have a official winter rally this year.
The weekend of the 9th, 10th and 11th
I plan to take the 101 on the following run.
Friday afternoon leave work early as possible and make straight for silent CK camp site for a Friday night camp.
saterday will be exiting Abercombie PK via baldhill/brass walls and forestry roads to Kowmung fire trail and camp dingo dell saterday night.
Sunday will going home via Jenolan caves and Blue Mts.
I have already have a mate coming in a Mitsubishi canter 4wd truck set up as a camper........I am seeing if I get any numbers.
This trip has been posted in the Shoalhaven 4wd club web site too.
This trip is usually cold and requires extra jerrycans of fuel if you have a standard fuel tank.
Nothing is set in concrete about this trip, it may change with weather conditions or any extra information we have about road/camping conditions.
