Hi – afterparking and locking up my D4 in the driveway and while walking away thesuspension used to lower automatically to Access Height mode which was convenientbut it’s now staying in Normal Height mode. The suspension is working perfectly in all modes via the control switchbut not lowering when switched off - any ideas why its staying on Normal Heightmode?

Mine has always stayed at normal height when locked.

i think it has something to do with the settings, im pretty sure you can set the LR button on the keytag to be set at Access height but im sure someone will come along with the answer, have you had it serviced lately whereby it could have been reset?
cheers

The vehicle will self level after turning off (especially if parked on uneven ground), but will not lower itself to access height unless there is an issue.
There is no button or setting that allows this either.
Cheers

I just wish that people that complain about the step up/down to the car (mother in law) didn't open the doors before I get a chance to lower it for them?

Or if someone heavy gets out of the car i.e. mother-in-law
The vehicle can be raised or lowered with the key fob (D4) but the engine needs to be running, hazad lights on and all doors closed. Press and hold the, think its the Unlock for raise and the one under it for lower.

Engine doesn't need to be running to use the key fob, good party trick and I have used it when disconnecting a trailer without a jockey wheel and a latch that had to be manually held up.

Turn the hazard lights on
shut the doors
Use the key fob
simultaneously press the light and unlock buttons to raise
simultaneously press the light and tailgate buttons to lower

If you haven't programmed this to your keys, then it won't work.
You need to program this yourself. From memory it is in your handbook.
