I remember reading that you can swap over your height sensors from side to side . Is this right. Is there anything that is a "need to know" . When swapping them over or is it a simple undo swap and do back up.?

The Eas height sensors can be swapped over from side to side no problems , i did my rear ones about a year ago when i was a fault finding . The rear ones can be a little tight pushing them through the rubber grommets , i used a pair of multi grips.

Thanks, I expect you just pull the delay timer relay first, but does disconnecting the sensor create a fault code?

Peter, you don't have to disconnect anything other than the sensor. Straight swap side to side as mentioned. If you're lucky you might not even need to recalibrate! As P38driver advised, a pair of multigrips to remove/replace the sensor arm through the grommet attached to the control arm is a great help.
further, see if you can dribble a bit of silicone stray on the arm first and see if it will get drawn in to the grommet by capillary action... assists in removing. Lubricate the arm when replacing ..take strain off the grommet and minimises chances of it becoming detached from the control arm...
