Has anybody used a rust inhibitor T40 by a company called Krown. I have a friend who used to distribute the product to minesites etc He still has tonnes of the stuff left in spray cans and said I can use as much as I needed if applicable.

Has anybody used this stuff before. If so where on the car is the best places to spray it on a new 110. Or should I just go and get proffessionals to do it.

Cheers
Graham

Never used it but it seems to have a good reputation and it comes from Canada where rust is a huge problem...

Needs to be reapplied every year.

It may be a PITA to work on the car with it applied (stays semi-liquid).

I usually use fishoil or lanotec - however would be happy to use that stuff if it was free.

How to apply: (I assume you will be using a compressor and degreasing gun)
You need to get it inside every cavity. Just pick each hole in the chassis and spray a heap in there in all directions.
If you aren't too precious about the car drill a couple of holes in the very top of each door frame (on the inside) so you can get it in right from the top down.

What he has left is actually crates of the stuff in Aerosol cans. Thanks for the tip. I am a bit precious at the moment, its only a couple of weeks old :0. Gimme some time and that will fade.

The same stuff comes in aerosol cans or tins. It is hard to get as much penetration with an aerosol can inside the chassis and firewall, but it still should do the job if you are careful and use plenty.

Dobbo.

They may sell it around your area or I can ask my friend if he wants to let more go.
Or you could use the fish

oil method isuzurover suggested.
