Ok... I'm looking at DIY installing my LED bar but I need to know where to route my wires... I was gonna go through the door since theres already gaps there anyway but I thought I'd try and keep water from getting in this time around...

whereabouts do I find the little plug where I can get the wiring through the cabin into the front of the vehicle and into the battery box?

I use the existing rubber grommets to the top of the battery box (gearbox side @ top), then down Ono chassis rail, forward and up engine side of bulkhead, across top (engine side) and trough the rubber gromits to get behind speedo!! Et voila:)

There are existing rubber grommets in the firewall, the drivers side is quite full but the passengers side is pretty empty and more accessible. To access from inside the cab take the panel off under the dash (the two plastic screws) and then feed a wire through from the engine side of the firewall.

Or alternatively as stated previously the battery box also works.

The transmission tunnel has a plastic section. A small hole through the plastic (and a grommet for waterproofing) will allow you to run wires from the cabin to either the front of the car or to the battery box.
use an existing grommet as per Chook73's post
You can also run a wire down through the A pillar or B pillar without drilling. For the A pillar, enter the wire through the existing wiring port used by the power window wiring and exit in the hole in the base of the A pillar. For the B pillar, enter the wire through the port used for access to the hinge bracket and exit through the hole in the bottom. With either pillar, be careful to consider drainage.

Like others have said, plenty of space in some of the existing fire wall grommets on the passenger side. However you might be better off run a fused power wire from the battery box down the chassis rails and up to a relay mounted in behind one of your headlights.

PS I'm floating around the ACT this weekend if you want to check out my install.

If you need more rubber grommets you can source them from Vehicle Wiring Products Ltd. Suppliers of auto electrical parts. (http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu) (if you can't get them locally).

Good idea to use a flexible condute for the full length of the wire.. The chances of it rubbing against something over time somewhere over the length of wire is pretty high.
