This is pretty funny, one of them has some pretty impressive articulation, and in the last one what happens to the dude is amazing:

It's pretty telling in the first clip, where the two dogs abandon ship at great speed.
The bloke in the last one was damned lucky though!

it's a bit shocking how easily some of them seem to tip over, is it the short wheelbase or just a factor of the high COG?

High centre of gravity and wheel placement.

I would say a combination of both and in some cases to much right foot:)

Yup.
Big lift, short wheelbase, too much right foot.
But yes, I think that last one was a toyota.

I think there's a reasonable chance that the second one ended with a death. The way it was rotating came down on the roof, continued on but the clip was cut.
Fair chance, given the propensity for no seat belts (as in the last clip) that the driver was ejected from the vehicle.

It always amuses me that a lot of people take 40 series Land Cruisers (like the last one in the video) and lift the suspension and carry on about how great they are.
I used to drive them back in the 70s and 80s and they were unstable in their original form let alone lifting them.
4x4tv are a classic example of this

A lot of rolls seem to happen when having to abort a high slope and end up reverse back down. As soon as they come off the straight line the vehicle flips over and rolls. :(
