Just home from our club rally.....and what a great weekend. I'd like to thank, once more, all the fun people who came along and made the weekend a happy experience - such events have no reason to be anything less....;)

We had 12 lovely vehicles along for the weekend, with a great selection of Series vehicles...some snaps here from our Saturday lunch stop at the restored church.....

Our Concourse d' Elegance winner.....the club's most coveted award....well done Ronnie and Paul, who took home the 1st piston trophy....this workshop is now a multi-award winning vehicle...

And another fine Series 1 - one of 4 on the trip, a great effort....

These 2 were neck and neck for the 2nd prestigious Shiny Vehicle piston trophy.....125rover50's Tickford narrowly edging out Rozavon's beautiful 107 this year.....there is always next year, John. ;)

We had a very fine roast dinner that evening - a big thank you to the one and only Mrs. H for her help here. Arthur was his usual vibrant self and gave another great speech....and the thunderstorm just added to the atmosphere really, so to speak....

But we awoke to a sunny morning....I hope everyone had a great time! :)

Again, trips like this are made by the folks that come along - it was a pleasure to organise the weekend, the reward being all the smiling happy faces. :)

Personal thanks to our El-Presidentee for organising a top event. Nan & I had a wonderful weekend. The casual little jaunt around the countryside with tea and scones along the way was great way to spend a Saturday.

The camping alongside the pub as well as our evening meal there was superb. IIRC, we had a total of 13 vehicles (which did include 3 boingy ones :D) and got to meet a few new (to me anyway) Landy people. We even had a Landy visitor (130 T/C) drop in to our camp.

Thanks also to Michael for bringing his famous Grandfather (AG :)) along for the show.
