G'day all,
I spent half of today wiring up a pair of spotties to my landie and about 3/4 of the way through thought that it might be worth taking some pics in case anyone else wants to do the same and, like me, isn't sure how to go about it. I had to extend the positive battery lead supplied with the lights by about 3 metres which I trimmed to size once I had it through to the battery box so probably only needed 2 metres and I extended the wires for the switch by about half a metre.

I started at the front by removing the headlight and running the cables through the the passenger side guard. The blue and white wire in the headlight is the high beam so I attached the red wire from the spotties, as per diagram, using the plastic connector provided, which was crap. Eventually I pulled it out again and spliced into the wire and soldered it on and taped it up because the connector hadn't worked.

Then I ran the cables along the top of the guard, I attached the relay and two earth leads onto an unused hole which was already in the top of the guard and then ran the other cables down through the engine bay and along the chassis. And now I cant seem to load up any pics so I'm giving up for now and will try again later, 6 hours playing around with eletrics is enough for me for one day, sorry.

Looks good. If anyone is doing this I highly recommend that they solder and heat shrink the connections instead of using crimpers - much more reliable :)
