Hello
I am thinking of getting a mudstuff console and I have been looking at some photos of them fitted and they look like the gearstick or your hand when on the gearstick might hit ,when in 1,3,5? If it does what did people do? eg. bend the gearstick.
Thanks

It gets close. I have a 7" tablet mounted in the middle of mine and every now and again my hand just touches it and changes something

Gearstick comes close but clears it on mine, have not needed to bend it

Yep comes close but you have 2" of room when the stick "sits" in those gears. If you push all the way forward you'll come close with the stick itself.

Yes happy with mine, it was put in by the previous owner. Lots of scope to set it up as you want with the position of guages, switches etc. I would recommend it

Hi
I have just fitted one and so far am pleased with it.
The way I have set it up the backs of the Radio and the Din pocket are very close, but it works.
Sorry photos not real good.
Cheers

That looks almost identical to the one I have in my 130.The only problem I have found is that in 1st gear, particularly low range 1st and driving over very rough ground, that the gear lever touches the channel knob on the UHF and changes the channel without me knowing it :mad:I have a different radio to go in there now, with the knob in a different place to alleviate the problem.

Have not driven it a lot since fitting, will have to see.
I guess a small bend in the gear lever will be the go if it touches?
Cheers
