So I bought my vehicle from a LR stealership eastern suburbs of Melbourne 2 years ago... And when looking at the vehicle I noticed a large chunk out of the sidewall on the front right tyre and made sure I mentioned it to them and got it replaced as part of the RWC.

So in the last two year my budget has been tight, and I haven't had the chance to upgrade tyres but I did buy a cheap set of rims with 40% tread from RRS cause I wanted the better look, and they did me ok to get through another 6 months of use before tyres were needed. Obviously because the tyre size was smaller I never rotated the spare, it was literally an emergency at the time... Never needed it either.

Well as I got a second set of the RRS rims and finally saved some cash I order GG AT's (which btw I am super happy with) and then swapped out the original rim to put the new one in, and thought at least there is one good tyre left... Only to find the ****** had put the dodgy tyre in there, or there was two with messed up tyres and I guess my biggest gripe is how the eff did that pass roadworthy?

I was selling my partners laser a few years back and an engine mount rubber looked aged so I had to replace that, yet a severe gouge in a sidewall is acceptable???

Don't have to guess how disappointing it is considering I had previously praised them on this site for being reasonable, and yet they really do just meet the standard of being untrustworthy.

Very happy with the tyres and and can't wait to get out and enjoy it. :)

Rant over.

That's very disappointing to hear! Don't you find the GG a/t's noisy? I'm looking to change mine to something quieter when they wear out.

Well I had GG AT2's on my forester and they were noisy, but the car is so quiet the noise isn't much to worry about. It's rare for me not to have music or something on all the time either. But very nice feel to drive with them. No tram track issues and quite smooth considering they are at 40psi.
