if its the same set up as my 95 110 you can use long nose pliers through the grill to hook the cable and pull

Oxy Torch? This used to happen with the Army 110s all the time. Long nosed pliers, like has been said already.

Get someone to push down on the front of the bonnet to take the pressure off it, you may find it then has enough to move it.

It happened to me when I had owned it a couple of months, had to take it to the dealers to remody. Road side assist didn't have a clue. I think they use a long flat bar to get at the lock.

When you do get it open you will notice the marks from the last time the dealer got it open. Hack saw may have been the tool of choice. Its nuts if you can't get in them any other way, thay are almost as bad as getting into a D3 tailgate when the cable snaps.

I for the life of me cant see how you'd even do it was a hack saw, I've got little fingers but cant get any where near the catch, maybe you can come up from underneath between rad????but to even see up there the steering guard has to come off...

I looked at hinge removel, I dont think you can on the Puma, they are nut and tech bolts if my memory is still intact.

The dealer went between the bonnet and the plastic panel just under it. I think, by the scratches they must have slid a thin metel strap or a blade to activate the lock mechanism. It moves in a sideways direction I think but cannot remember the direction or on what side its on.

PM sent,

But for the info of others, the cable can accessed from behind the driver side head light.

It's straight pull from there to release the bonnet.

Cheers

Found out from a mate in UK, so easy but the landy community does not talk about it cus of all the bonnets that go missing over there......look at gap between bonnet and grill and you will see the catch and next to it on the left a hole. It that hole is the latch use a big meaty allen key to push the latch left, and pop. May cable was frayed and stretched where it fixes to latch, so would not pull.
