What is one worth ?

I have been offered a 24 spline 4 pin diff centre for a range rover. The person offering me the diff did the old just let me know what you think it is worth. I reckon this bloke knows pretty well what it would be worth, so what is one worth ?

Anyone who has one will probably shoot me down for saying this, but if it's JUST the centre rather than the whole CW&P/housing, it has to be substantially less than what you would pay for an Ashcroft ATB or Truetrac. I know they're strong, but they're completely "open" and offer no advantage other than strength. The ATB for a little over $500 gives all that and better traction.

Yep it is only a centre so would be only a gain in strength.
