This is the initial interest thread for the second run of diggers stickers...
https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2015/05/250.jpg
them.
It'll be 6-8 weeks minimum before I start any real progress into doing the run (If I get enough interest)
The anticipated cost is
$2.75 per sticker
$3.50 for postage
this will work in about the same way as the surplus sell of run one was done.
If you wish to order stickers simply write out
There are currently Y stickers
I would like to order X stickers.
you need to order Y+x stickers required
the Y for the beginning of your post comes from the last line of the post prior to yours.
DO NOT edit your posts if you have hit send and then later want more just add another post
DO edit your posts IF you hist send and someone else has posted between you starting typing and hitting send. Fix the mathys bit and save the changes.
If you decide you dont want the stickers just send me a PM when I put the cut off point into this post and ask for people who want to opt out to opt out.
I suggest putting a track on this thread so you dont miss the cut off, there will be a 2 week period after the cut off in which to provide payment and postage details. The run will go ahead after the cut off for payments date.
Once again I will pick up the cost of any over-run production and will then run a surplus run post. any left over will be turned over to INC for resale in the shop.(or whatever else he wants to do with them)

So, did the second run of Digger Stickers ever go ahead?
I am trying to prep the car, ready for Melrose, and can't complete the set-up without it... ;)

no, with a total of 17+ how ever many you wanted to order there currently isnt enough quantities to do a re-run.
From the last thread the "rights" and orignal files that were sent to the printers for the artwork I put together are communal property of AULRO under Incisors control.
If you want to hit a one off you could try asking for the file.

There was some interest in these from people up at Corowa last weekend. Maybe it's something that Dave can keep in his shop if he has a little cash to splash up front (?).

I would be interested in a couple but cant follow the thread as much as I would like. Being away with work in bad reception areas makes it difficult, but for the small amount of money that it is would be prepared to pay and wait.

I still have six of these stickers from the original run as a result of buying a bulk lot and overestimating the needs of other club members.
As it appears that some AULRO members would like to obtain these ASAP, I will make them available to the first AULRO members who PM me with their request and postage address. I will respond with payment details (Payment via EFT only). First in best dressed.
Price will be as Dave indicated in the first post ($1.75 per sticker plus $3.50 postage).
There are only six available and to be fair and allow a few to benefit from this, I will limit each request to a maximum of two stickers per member.
If anyone wishes to pickup from Normanhurst (NSW), mention this in your PM and cash payment for stickers will then be accepted.

From memory 50.
they then screen a run of 100 to allow for any misprints and give you the option of purchasing the overrun. The over run stickers were where all the extra stickers from the last run came from , off the top they only had one or two that didn't come out perfectly.
I've still got the email trail buried in gmail somewhere

I am keen if there is another run. My last one went with my Defender. I gave one away. I was talking to Digger about doing a T-Shirt. I haven't done much about it as I was busy at the time. Might get some prices.

Not sure if its still being considered, but we would like to stock the sticker (and the tshirt - 4 of each Mens L & XL - if it happens) at British Car Components here in North Melbourne.
Happy to purchase 20 stickers and keep them in the shop for locals to purchase whenever they need.

Copy my 10 if available. I sold the last car with one and I gave one away. I can foresee plenty more LRs in my future.

Call me at British Car Componenets if you need to boost the run to get a better deal. Happy to carry a reasonable amount of reserve stock "for the greater good". They will sell eventually.

Ok...
Just got back from the printers...
Only challenge is a white sticker! Special equipment to print a white pigment - so there will be a delay of approximately 7-10 days for white stickers...
I have got the following available now...
Dark Green
Red
Black
Blue
And white are underway shortly...
I'm unable to maintain the original price however - and will need to run them at $2.00 a sticker plus $3.50 postage (in Australia).
I will set up a poll and link to it to get the numbers and link to it here shortly...

Certainly did, and we're working on blowing them up to suit.
Artefacts in the font used means the Vector file will need tidying up for larger sizes.
But I am working on this option.

Tombie,
I didn't want to clutter up the thread for counting up the sticker order with questions.
Given that you stick it to the inside of window, what are your thoughts re tinted windows and visibility of the sticker?
I like the sound of green but not sure if that's feasible on tinted windows.

Another question.. We have one on our defender plus a spare. All our other vehicles are canvas roofed so a inside glass sticker won't work to well, I don't think the windscreen is a good place to put it ;) Probably it will cost extra though, just a thought :)

White is the most visible on tint or even on clear glass...
The red may be ok on average tint, it's certainly useless on mine...

Mrs hh:angel:
I can flip a few if you like (external fit) but they won't weather as well unless they're laminated.
Or the next version will be a vinyl and larger - they should work ok..
