I've just got back from S&J Horsepower in Smythsdale and apparently there's an mcc bar on the way for the l322. Should be within the next few months - most likely it will be a winch bar.

Not affiliated in any way with the business, except I've just bought a bar for my p38 and they were more helpfull than most of the major players here in Bendigo.

That would be cool. I would certainly be in line to buy one. :)

When I pick the bar in a few weeks I'll find out when they'll be in, how much, what type etc.

Benji - they're certainly helpful. I wasn't sure if my P38 had put them off fitting MCC bull bars for life!! Obviously not. Hope you're not paying extra for the install because of their experiences with mine.

What style have you chosen? When I was last there, they were talking about developing some underbody protection for the P38 - would you kindly enquire when you visit.

The brave P38 owner amongst us would offer their car for rear MCC bar R&D.

If you are able to get any pics of the prototype or a drawing - that would be great. Tell them it may help them sell a few quickly.:)

He did say that they dont have a p38 rear bar yet...

My son had a MCC front & rear bars fitted to is Triton.

He is very happy with them.

I recall when doing some research seeing a bar on a L322 in one of their online brochures.

Cheers

There's this one; a chrome nudge bar that they do - www.mcc4x4.com - Land Rover (http://www.mcc4x4.com/index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=29:land-rover&Itemid=14)

AVAST antivirus is picking up a trojan on that page, click at your own risk. I'd email them, but I'm not going to spend any more time on their site!

I've been on there a bit and haven't had anything pop up... im not really knowledgeable about those things though.

I should be getting the bullbar latter this week or early next week, so I'll have some answers then.

Where I work, lots roos so I'll also be watching closely.
I fitted a "genuine" polished stainless and rubber bar. I bought from UK and all up cost me around $400, so it'll do for the interim.
I wouldn't like to hit a roo with it! Centre section quite solid but headlight surrounds very "flexible"

Yes, the car was my 60th birthday present, FROM ME!

The bar for the l322 should be ready to go in 3 weeks. Apparently the bar has been fitted to l322s in South Africa. He's waiting for one to be sent over and do a trial fitment first.

Do they have any pics yet or do we have to wait for the big reveal?

They've a bar arriving in a week or so, and they're going to do a trial fitment, and get certification and photos.

I drove past a silver L322 with an alloy/steel bull bar (looked like an ARB or similar) on Enoggera Rd in Newmarket, Brisbane on Sunday; Was too hard to turn around and chase it - but I'm hoping he is local (or on here????) so I can ask a few questions!!

cheers

Did it look like this one?

It is a modified D3 bar - fairly easy to do by all accounts, but not legal. I think that is why everyone is holding their collective breaths on one to be certified.

Mmm, it's been more than three weeks.
Shane and Joann run the place there, it'd be worth a call from someone. S&J Horsepower in Smythesdale. 53428830

I've said all I was told, so can't really help you out more than that sorry.
