Would those of you in SEQld who ride road (or at least road-legal) bikes be interested in a meet up / ride one weekend?

Just gauging interest at this stage.

Keen as! We're going to be away (in Africa) for the month of October, but otherwise, the earlier the notice the more chance of coming along.

We'd be two-up on the Buell, no preference on the destination/route, so long as no major city work (do enough of that as it is...)

That's the day before the NRL grand final.

Meet point: (Shell?) servo at Burpengary.

Route: Plan would be Dayboro (brekky at the bakery) - Mt Mee - behind the dam and up Mt Glorious for a coffee.

Pace: Relaxed (though if you want to go ahead we can meet up at various points along the way).

Pillions: Very welcome !

Bikes: Any road-registered.

Bring a camera !

Haha, Canungra is normally part of my weekend "get out for a ride and smell the roses" route, but as mentioned this weekend we're gathering for our club AGM just around the corner from there..... you might even hear all the landrovers go past....

I am only going to be able to make the first half of the ride I am thinking as I am meant to be at a family shindig at cedar creek. trying to find out what time.

if the meet time is 9am at dayboro, and I need to be at cedar creek around 11ish I think I should be right :| going to be a close one. I think its like half hour from mt glorius. suppose I can always break off the pack early if need be.
