It's been several weeks since the software update to correct the hesitation problem in my MY13, previously noticed when slowing down (such as on approach to a roundabout), then speeding up again if there are no approaching cars. It no longer happens. Have noticed some roughness as the car downshifts as I slow, but is ready to go as soon as I hit the accelerator.

I suspect, based on the change in behaviour, it previously didn't downshift as it felt smoother as I was braking, which then caught it short when I hit the accelerator suddenly. Has anyone else had the fix applied, and noticed the difference?

Sounds like mine needs it done.......

In fact it is very noticeable climbing dunes in the desert, you slow down as they are very rough and chopped up at the base, then gun it to climb and it seems to wait for ever, hangs at idle revs, before it decides to go...

If you do the same in low range,no delay at all,it rockets off.

Hi Phl,
what engine and kw is Yours Have you used S mode before and after? If so is the difference between D and S mode the same as before the mod or has the 'gap' narrowed?

I think mine needs it done too, I reported the issue previously as it seemed to be in neutral and then kicked into gear and started moving off.

I believe they actually do do that. I found to get it into gear ready for moving preempting I suppose, I would ease off the brake pedal pressure a bit until you feel it start to get keen to move and the just wait till you can and it will go.
Or as I do if I need to go asap I select S mode and everything becomes more alert and willing with better gear responses up and down the gears.

Mine is the SDV6, 183kW.

The S mode was and is still more aggressive in holding gears.

And in sport mode it seems to be in the right gear almost every time when you need it.
