Defender door fitment to series 3?

This one is outside my usual Series Landie knowledge.
I have a mate who needs to replace a Landie door after damaging the neighbours car......:wasntme::wasntme:
Its a series 3 but has defender doors with wind up windows.
What years can we go up to in the search for a replacement. Were the doors roll up windows from the first 110s.
Any help would be appreciated...........

Defender doors will fit series and vice versa but latch position is different.Defender doors didnt change so any year will be ok:)

Are they defender doors or early county doors?

My 85 County and Puma have different handles, locks and latches. Both have wind up windows (of sorts if you count electrics).

The (early) County ones have similar handles to the series, the lift up style rather than the later push button. I couldn't tell you if there are any other differences.

Thanks for the quick reply, thats the answer we hoped for. Any ideas on what a complete door like that in reasonable condition should be worth?
