Pop-up advert on iPhone - just this forum.

I keep getting a pop-up for a well known super annuation firm while browsing AULRO on my phone. It only happens on AULRO.
Is this part of the site's advertising strategy, or is there something wonky in my Safari browser please?

the site doesn't differentiate other than adverts are based on your browsing history...

i haven't seen it but i use forum runner and tapatalk when on a phone or tablet.

I'm just surprised it can do it on an iPhone. It has only started doing it in the last couple of days, which is why I was wondering if it's from AULRO or some bit of malware that's attached itself to this domain somehow.

Try using Tapatalk or similar forum app, no adverts come through from forums. :)

Never mind, found the free version of Tapatalk and playing with that.

So, for someone who is NOT I.T savvy, can someone please explain what these apps actually do, and what their gains are???? I'm on several forums, only use an Ipad, and can navigate around fine.. I'm assuming I can see everything, and it is all clear and easy to read... I've avoided downloads, apps and updates, as I keep hearing horror stories about it clogging things up, slowing things down and generally being a pain in the butt... (a bit like that stupid damn Poootrol advert...). Cheers in advance.:)

Yep, got it now but it's MUCH more irritating as there's no 'close' button. And the damn thing doesn't keep up if you're scrolling, causing much jumping of the screen!!!

Inc, if subscribing puts a stop to these, it's a pretty good way of persuading peeps to stump up! :D
