D3 Engine Change

Hi all this is my first visit to AULRO site and im loving it.
Wondering if anyone can advise me if a complete 2008 2.7 tdv6 including injection and turbo will be compatible with my 2005.
I had an injector get stuck open and burned a hole in piston so I would like to use a complete motor someone suggested I could only use 05,06,07 model motors but have found an 08 with low kms.

Hi - the first D3 motors were Euro III compliant. In about August 2006 (MY07 model), they changed to Euro IV compliant -which had higher fuel pressures. So short answer is "no" - not compatible.

Thank you for the advise being a complete motor is this a simple as getting the pump to suit the higher fuel pressure or will it be non compatible with the computer system.
Also does this mean I could only use MY05 or MY06 as replacement motors.
