Openica Logistics Interstate Transport Services | Cars, Boats, Caravans, Trucks (http://www.opsl.com.au)
drive on drive off = $660 , that seems such a good deal I thought it worth sharing
it would cost me $350 in diesel to drive it to Melb so I reckon its a bargain ,

Check with Toll Express. I recently got Disco2 Brisbane to Adelaide for $485 and service was 2 day. Not bad.

A lot of the carriers have restrictions on height over 2.1m and things like no personal belongings to be in the car. We used Door to Door Car Carriers (http://www.doortodoorcars.com.au/) to bring our Countys back from Cairns after a Cape York trip last year because they didn't mind that we had roof top tents (2.4m high) and also the cars were full of camping gear etc etc. $1275 Cairns to Melbourne.
$660 sounds ok from Brisbane to Melbourne. Is that just for a bare car, or a loaded one.
Cheers, Murray

it will be bare, transferring as much as possible to the new truck.
Iveco guy that is delivering my new truck said they pay $1400 Sydney to Bris, he also said its a great price !!

Hey Mick, strip it down including windscreen, and pack the stuff in a large tarp lash it to the truck and it should cost about the same as an offroad trailer ;)

Last year I was quoted $600 from rural Victoria to Sydney. They had to transport to Melbourne and then another truck up to Sydney to my place. I didn't end up buying the car as the cost of transporting added to the cost of the car was what I could buy a car in Sydney for.
