I have just listened (as have thousands) to an uplifting, motivating, emotional, terrifying, tragic, awe inspiring and inspirational interview with Turia Pitt on Richard Fidler's ABC 'Conversations' programme. The strength, honesty and personal desire to survive and succeed shared by Turia as a result of her horrendous injuries whilst competing in the Ultra Marathon in the Kimberley in 2011 leaves us mere mortals pondering our own personal limitations. Turia's personal account of the past two years in her life brought me to tears and emotional admiration. 'What a remarkable woman'.

I watched her interview on 60 minutes a couple of weeks ago and was amazed at her determination to carry on with life, my hat goes off to her boyfriend Michael too for being a top bloke :)
We all know what the word love means, but how many of us know what it's really all about, that is the question. I think this story gives us the answer ;)

Everything to live for (http://turiapitt.com/book/)

This book is on my "to buy" list, I'll probably never get to read it but I'm sure the few $$ she will receive from my purchase will help along the way.
