TD5 earth points

Got an intermittent electrical fault with one of the relays, it clicks like a machine gun after first starting unless I either turn on the a/c blower or foot brake switch or turn on the heated front and rear screen. I'm thinking it must be something common to all circuits so an earth point.

I think the earth you want is under the drivers seat in the floor of the box.
Also don't assume that the seat box is earthed run a cable from the -ve terminal to the seat box.

Fitted a Mulgo x box and ran an extra earth point straight the battery, if I can't find it I may run an extra earth to the offending relay itself.

I had the same problem. It was a corroded earth bundle. This was one of the blue plastic terminators that a bunch of wires go into. As it had corroded I was not getting a good earth and all sorts of funny things were happening.
