Hi all, thought i would kick off the trip report, it was a good day, plenty of sun and not too hot.
We had about 20 members and extras turn up for a good days golf.
We started off with playing Ambrose rules Thanks to Grimace, as i had never played ambrose, it was an interesting morning.
We were supposed to be in groups of 4 but somewhere along the line the last 2 groups merged.
Tee of was at 9.30 and we were back at the clubhouse by 12.00. Louis put on a good bbq, thanks for Louis.
Here are a couple of pics with my group, Harry, with wife Chrissy, my brother in law Dennis.
Congratulation to Louis group for their win of 1 over par, They all played like true professionals.
We lost a couple of balls, had a few slices, and as harry put it, "why do they make balls that are magnetised to water? "
My brother in law had a good time, and was impressed by the good social feeling of the club.
Thanks to Harry and Chrissy for being such good sports, we had a good time.
