View Full Version : Rear drive shaft yoke broke!

Thought I had vibrations at about 100 kmh ...and they were not of the "Good" variety.

"dashed" if I know what caused it ...have not been in "harm's way" or anybody's way that I know of...
Seems the rear shaft only comes as a whole unit...
I've never had, or seen, this happen before ...

That could have got ugly if it let loose whilst driving!

Ah! the karma of mateship through this site !;) Bloody marvellous.
Obtained one used excellent condition complete shaft ... repacked the grease, all bearings present and correct... no wobbles... and ... minimal seat vibration on ultrasmooth road at 110kmh... !! after 7 yrs am now driving a P38 which is actually smooth and stable... amazing!
