Could anybody tell me if a drivers seat out of a series 2 discovery will bolt straight into a series 1 or are the bolt holes at a different location :confused::confused:

3 door or 5 door?
According to the manual for my 3 door, the entire floor section is different.
5 door has the same sort of box affair that the old series models have, where my 3 door is flat floored with tubular risers holding the seats.

I would say that they would be interchangeable as the 95-on D1 is basically the same as the D2 pre facelift.just depends on the trim level and airbag setup.

MY97 & MY98 maybe but MY95 & MY96 and earlier have the old style seat box bolted to the floor and seat belts bolted to the pillar and transmission tunnel.
