Trust it only if your requirement is to use it to weigh a piece of paper down. :D

In theory it should block the hole and stop water leaking out.

How long it will also supply an output for the gauge is anybodies guess.

People, better be careful, the Mad Monk is introducing a law to make it a criminal offence to bag someone's product and or tell someone not to buy it, Regards Frank.

Might as well see if it works. At least if it fails it won't be dangerous like their awful brake seal kits do.

Britpart don't make parts they only source and sell.
Sometimes the parts they source are fine and you will have no issue other times the source is bad or really cheap and you have issues.
Rule no1 don't buy cheap rubber bits from anyone.

Well went tofit it this morning, and its now a paperweight, absolutely terible, the brass sender part spins independentantly of the black plastic bit, not noticeable at first till you go to tighten it and it keeps spinning, which also makes it dificult get back out, disapointed but not surprised

Absolutely identical to my experience. With great difficulty it was removed, and great force flung at the garage wall. The original part, now 20 years old was refitted.

This was a couple of years ago, so great to see their QA policy remains "we assure you there is no excess quality in this part". :censored:

There are consumer laws if it was unfit for the purpose, which given the symptoms is clearly the case.

Take it back and require a refund. At least it will make the distributors think twice about suppliers.

You get what you pay for, and it seems many Australian land rover buyers seeks cheap as chips parts.

It should be also noted Britpart have a number of different lines.

Ie Britpart cheap as chips

OEM Britpat quality good product. could be in a Britpart box.

You should also note Britpart supply the UK MOD, do they supply cheap as chips parts no they don't they sell the better OEM stuff.

But don't forget allmakes, PR2 range is far superior to Britpart thats why we sell it...

I'm assuming that it was below the threshold for making a meaningful claim back through Paypal then?

We dont list every single part made, theres just far too many.

A lot of people will just call and say I need xyx, and we price and supply that way.

We have of course cant keep every part on the shelf, so we have 3 weekly air shipments for a lot of non stocked parts.
