Hi Hainsy,
Probably the best and cheapest way would be to find someone with a nanocom and buy a map from one of the companies that write good after market maps for Td5's. Or buy a nanocom and buy a map. If you're in to your TD5 for the long term you'll probably end up wanting / needing a nanocom at some time.
Alive tuning (UK) and Td5Inside (Portugal?) have had good things said about their maps, so have BAS (UK) and TRS (Aus) not sure if TRS still trade though. Td5Inside have a presence on AULRO from time to time and their man Josie seems to be very customer focused.
I'm sure any of the independent landrover outfits in Perth could do this for you, although I'm not ware of any 'specialist' companies. But, IMO, you'd be better off doing it yourself, or at least getting to a level of knowledge where by you can make an informed decision as to what you want. There is a lot of info. on here and on other forums about remapping the TD5, there is a little more to consider than just the remapping of the ECU. IMHO you'd be best off reading up on it and getting familiar with what can be done and what other modifications you may want to consider doing in tandem with an ECU remap to get the performance you are after.
I'm not meaning to be rude and I apologies if you have read around this matter already but from the way you phrased your question I'd hazard a guess that you want to be better informed before having someone just 'flash' your ECU.
Good luck and let us know how you get on - once you have a well setup TD5 you will really, really love it.
Regards,
Ian.

Hey Mools
Cheers for your reply, i will have a research about it from what you have said. You are probably right about the flashing rather then actually re chipping it i just didnt think it would give as good performance. I appreciate your advice
