I have a burnt out fuse socket (right low beam). I figure the best fix would be to replace the whole fuse block. Is this a generic item, or should I find a particular Defender version? Any links to suppliers would be appreciated.

I'd reckon the best option would be to relocate all those bloody hard to get at fuses into a new fuse block of some kind in a box under the centre console. I just haveno idea what type of fuse block would suit and, more importantly how to go about extending the loom to the fuses, and whether it's practicable.

I love the idea though.

Just be thankful you don't have Lucas glass cartridge fuses!
