I got my EKA from LR today 3 numbers one letter "f" which I presume =6. I tried the code followed the instructions in the manual and get a single "beep" from the horn when completed, which indicated incorrect code. I've tried it 3 times with the same result. Is there a trick to it or something to watch for?

I tried it word for word and doesn't seem to work. Any tip would be appreciated.

Craig

Btw I'm not locked out, just got it as a precaution..

My guess would be that it's a European 7 with a cross stroke not a 6.

Thanks Pedro. After reading this I think I know what my problem is. Both my drivers side (front & rear) door lock actuators are malfunctioning and need replacing, so I think this is where my problem is.

My code has the letter A which apparently stand for 10.
Maybe you need to try F=16

Checking the Nanocom BCU docs each digit of the EKA code can be between 1-16, so LR are most likely giving the digits as hexadecimal to avoid confusion ;)

In hex the first ten digits are 0 - 9, then A = 10, B = 11, C = 12, D = 13, E = 14, F = 15
