Hi Everyone
I'm about to install a UHF radio into my Freelander 2 and noticed the power leads are labeled
"This unit can only be installed in negative ground battery system. Connect the red wire to the positive terminal and the black to the negative terminal of the battery"
with the recent discussion about connecting a compressor to battery terminals this sounded like it might not be the best idea.
I had though about putting cigarette lighter plug on the cable as the unit will not be in use all the time.
The last radio I put in a 4WD it didn't have a black box so any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks
