Ashcroft diff locks

got a 2002 deefa td5 and the front diff is just about gone
i need to up date so ive bit the bullet and decided to
fit Ashcroft diff locks front and rear and also upgrade the front axles and cv joints and possible rear axles(already got maxi axles fitted)
need to place a order with Ashcroft
can anybody give me a idea what i need to order so i don't go wrong

If you already have maxi axles, check if their ok as they are = to Ashcroft or better and very strong. In the rear(salisbury only) a cheap option is to fit a Detroit locker(u.s sourced lucky8 has a special at the moment in vendors) but in the front if you want a locker or bigger tyres you need stronger axles + cv's so go the Ashcroft if you can afford it.
Being an 02 you may or may not have ABS, my 02 does as well as traction control, the rear diff is either a Salisbury(mine), or a p38(very late 02 into 03) or a rover if your in a 90.

Ashcrofts will give you great advice and service and you will have all the bits you order within a week. I split my orders from them into separate packages to keep each importation under $1,000 and avoid the customs excise.
You will also need hub seals and swivel-housing seals, which I don't think Ashcrofts will supply; order these early or you may well find (as I did) that you have all the gear from Ashcrofts sitting around waiting for the seals so you can do the installation, as a lot of parts suppliers take ages to send stuff.

Ashcroft lockers are the bee,s knee,s , If your not hard core dont stress about front CV,S and axles in my opinion , I have survived many a outing with big tyres and standard cv,s and axles in my trusty Tdi . The rear axle,s are more of a concern;)
