Having agonised over what system to get for the Disco (for GPS, audio etc) I have now decided (if I can) to sell the Disco and buy a proper Land Rover
Having considered various options I reckon I'll just use my Galaxy S4 phone for GPS stuff.
So as far as car audio I need it to have the fopllowing:
- single DIN
- ability to stream music etc from the phone (Samsung Galaxy S4)
- bluetooth
- affordable but not rubbish.
OPTIONAL
- USB memory stick connector.
- CD player (they all do I think) but that'd be OK too.
Anyone recommend anything ?

There's talk of one on page 2 that comes with bluetooth etc with the added bonus it will fit in the defender dash!

The GPS etc whizz bang thingy that I was going to get for teh Disco (but no good for a shaky ol' Defender) was an Eonon and there are good reports of that brand from some on AULRO.
Might pop over to their site and see what they have....
edit: Hmm seems all theirs are GPS models.... Need something more 'basic" I guess.

Although Eonon also has DVD player / radio tuners etc of which this is a fixed panel single-Din (requires separate monitor).
Eonon D1001 | Car DVD | 1 Din Car DVD (http://www.eonon.com/Car-DVD-Players/1-Din-Car-DVD/D1001.html)
One presumes that if it plays DVD's then it would also play CD's ?
BUT no Bluetooth :(
Got me thinking though... maybe there are other in car DVD systems similar but with BT / streaming capability ?
Hmmmm.

As far as standard CD/Tuner/ BT units.....
This one seems OK
Northfield Car Sound (http://www.northfieldcarsound.com.au/products?group_id=44&product_id=1413&supergroup_id=13)
CDE-143EBT
$249 - seems to do everything needed.
Was hoping for something as capable but a bit cheaper in a less 'high end' brand as should work as well just be cheaper !
