I need rear springs for my SWB series 2. Does anyone know where in Melbourne ( prefer south ) to get new springs ? or get them reset ?
I am not sure how much weight I am going to put in it but at the moment I havent even got a spare wheel as the rear starts to sag with any weight in it .
All help appreciated !

Have you considered parabolics!
Or get new standard springs.
Resetting in my opinion is a waste of time!
I used to work in an engineering shop that had traditional blacksmiths and even they said resetting doesn't last. I have had standard springs reset and they don't last that long.
Good luck!
Cheers, Mick.

Remember that the right rear spring has a higher camber ( bow) than the left as it takes the weight of both the driver and fuel tank.

G'day ian4002000 :)
Is yours an Ex-Army 2a,if so they were all fitted with what became the Landrover 1ton springs,as the vehicles were fitted with chassis extensions at the front and longer swinging shackles both front and rear ;) but you cannot use parabolic springs as they make the drive angles to steep (the front gearbox X member is notched for this reason).
