What a great weekend! I enjoyed myself so much that I didn't even trouble my camera. I'm sure many others did though, so please post up and share .....:)

Here is an image from the lovely ladies from the Glenreagh Country Women's Association. The ladies made us a wonderful event dinner on the Sunday night.......those on Facebook may view the images in better detail by searching for Glenreagh Country Women's Association.

It was a really good trip ended up doing about 1300kms over the weekend in the series 3.
A good turn out with a good variety of people and land rovers.

Unfortunately I did not get many photos as it seemed I was driving most of the time. and those that I did get were a bit biased.
I hope everyone got back ok without any dramas :)
ps. Thankyou Mrs HH for the organisation of the trip very much appreciated.

Well, had a great time, thanks everyone.:). Special thanks to Carolyn for all her hard work before and during the event, and all the SLOw members and others there that made it such a great weekend.

It was great to put so many faces to names, and everyone was so friendly. Plenty to talk about both with my 101 and now I have plenty of ideas, and parts to continue on with the Series III resto.:)

Made it back to the outskirts of Sydney today, and heading down the coast to somewhere... I'll pull up when I'm tired.:)

I'll post the few pics I took once I get back to my home Internet, so that will be next week.

Cheers - Gav.

Relaxing weekend catching up with friends and putting some more faces to names. Spent a few hours in the saddle getting back to Bundy, but no traffic issues :)

A couple of pics of the crowd lining up for the Sunday trips, 1 of our campsite and 1 of the twins at Heffrons Lookout on the way home.

Hopefully the video will show the true genius that lead to this historic event, prompted by a bunch of Land Rover nutters standing around a heavy engine, a trailer without a tailgate, and lots of pointing and talking :D

Well, I piled on another 450KM heading home today with a nice long stop at Nowra to shoot the breeze about all things 101 and Stalwart with 101Ron.:). I'll be putting a bit more detail up of our discussions on my 101 thread at some point, but I would really like to say a huge Thankyou to Ron for taking so much time out of his day to show me his toys. I even got to take his 101 for a spin o compare it to mine - it is one very nice setup and I have got lots of things to do to mine now.:D

Just set up camp at Narooma, here's what I can see from my site while sipping a cold beer.

Good to hear you're enjoying the trip home. The south coast of NSW is a very nice part of the country to drive through.

We attempted the north end first but with a bit of respect to fine machinery:D we turned back and drove to the southern end, but not before taking in the veiws at Sealy lookout, a pleasant drive along the trail a then finishing with wheel placement assisstance to safely descend the northern end.A great drive with some good veiws of the coast.

I too would like to thank some people.

First and foremost to Roger (Xtreme) for his very generously lent front propshaft. I don't think single unis like lifted D2s but it's a bit more peace of mind knowing you're not putting all the stress on a single diff.
Gav for being a great neighbour and coming over to check out the landy work (And for showing Katherine his schmicko camping set up, I'm sure I'll be getting encouraged to make ours a bit more civilised, any excuse to spend money right? ) :D
Baz and co. for a solid few hours of entertainment around the campfire on sunday night (P.S ask Baz what he thinks of the D4 after a whiskey or two :Rolling: )
Thanks to everyone who showed up, I had a fantastic weekend, was great to put faces to names, although I'm still not entirely sure who the hilariously funny lady on our table who decided red wine and pain killers were a good mix was, but thanks for an entertaining evening!
Thanks to Dave for the sticker, much to the envy of a few at the table.
Sorry I missed the majority of saturday afternoon and evening, SWMBOs health took a turn for the worse and so the decision was made to head back into CH to seek out a doctor for her, thankfully she was okay and we made it back with no dramas and ready for a drink or six.
A great weekend, with many tall tales fueled by perhaps a slight amount of alcohol, lots of great people, great banter, and most importantly, great 4WDS ;)
Cheers

Have to agree with everyone thanking the organisers for another fantastic weekend. I have to make a special mention to Andrew in the deefer 130 who took me and the mrs into Coffs on saturday morning in search for a new uni-joint for the front drive shaft and then helped me change it.It was a great end to our two weeks of travelling in the end we travelled 4100km in our two week adventure around NSW. Once again many thanks to all involved making the weekend possible.
