Hi all,

Is there a sticky somewhere with the best sources for series 1 parts?

By all accounts Dunsfold is one of the best, but Nick has just advised me they only accept credit card payment.
Sending details like that overseas and via insecure email is unacceptable to me..

What other options are there?

Gary at CLR appears to be crook and is not responding to phone calls, Alex at the Series One shop hasn't bothered to reply to email.... It's lose lose at present.

you can get parts from fwd at melbourne just make sure you get the right parts but they are quite good to deal with.
I guess it really depends what parts you are after
Alex at the series one shop is quite often away from what I have heard

FWD are expensive.

John Craddock are great. Get yourself a copy of the original parts manual so you have access to the correct part numbers. These can be entered on the Craddock website then they show you current price. Easy as.

Compare the prices for a laugh!

I get a lot of stuff off ebay. Set up a pay pal account its safe i have never had any issues. Gary is ok i bought stuff for my gearbox from him. gary , Jim and others all have there parts on Ebay anyway. Join the Series 1 club on line UK there are links there to all sorts of parts including modern replicas of the generator that are actualy a alternator ,wiring harnesses, tail lights you name you can get it. You will find a lot of people who sell parts do it as a part time thing and dont always get back to you quickly. If you need any castings like thermostat housing etc Chas over here in WA makes them.
