fitted a allisport inter-cooler to my 2002 dfa 110 td5 yesterday
all went well BUT when i went to close the bonnet the safety catch hits the top of the inter-cooler. did remove latch and grind it down but still hits any suggestions would be appreciated

Had the exact same issue with my Puma, from memory I:
- bent the latch bracket forwards;
- mounted IC as far back as possible; and
- moved rad support panel as far forward as possible.
There's not much clearance now but 5000ks of corrugations (including the French Line) has confirmed there's enough.

The previous owner of my 130 td5 fitted one and when I got it,I found that the latch had been hitting the top,and had actually bent the alloy reinforcing around the edge and the cooling fins where the latch had struck,I ground off the bottom of the latch and then adjusted the latch as far forward as I could,and then bent the latch forward,clears fine now,and the 3 or 4 cooling fins that were bent,didn't make any difference,as they took the brunt and left the cooling tubes unaffected.
