Mounting Driving Lights

Hi All
Has anyone mounted Driving lights to a Disco 2 update 2003 if so how did you do it as i have found the plastic bar to be a little flimsy and the lights vibrate to much.

I have been thinking about doing this lately, but my plan was to make up a steel bracket that came from behind the grill, and basically has some tabs coming out between the bumper and grill to mount the lights to

Sound the thing to do as i cannot find anything but a ARB Bar to mount them on.

I'll post you some pictures tomorrow. I'm also into RC Helicopters and you can get some pretty trick looking ball joints and threaded rod to suit then just cut some carbon fibre tube to cover the threaded rod. Use them as stays back to the Grill.

I did it on my Skoda Yeti. Looks good and the lights are rock solid. A bit too much that a bird hit smashed a lens.

The RC bits added up to about $10.
