advertising in threads

why does it seem to be ignored in the series 1 forum, but anywhere else posts are removed or warnings are given?

im not sure on the first one (ive been ignored too), as for the second part it seems its against the rules

If you don't report, the moderators don't know.

Thats interesting I dont know or at last cant think of anyone that has been officially warned for advertising in threads unless they are repeat offends that have been told time and time again. Even then only one person comes to mind...

usually just a polite PM saying please post in the markets because selling in the main forum is not allowed.
