8O ok looking for any info regarding side steps for series two landy ,short of fitting a step ladder ,shmbo cant get in very easily,so steps would make it easy,any suggestions??????

What are their side steps like?
are they the fold down type that you see about occasionaly?

i have a set of alloy side steps suit a 109 i dont need now i have that shorty i have been hanging out for style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif
that the type of side step you want or you want the genuine spring loaded step for each door?

i dug them out the other day, went to photograph them and the dam batteries were flat in the camera...

you had me for a few minutes... i was/am having a very poor day...
saw harry at the jeep club show, he came over introduced himself... and i couldnt for the life of me remember where i had met him... had me stuffed, pickled and bottled...
DUH... half an hour later the penny finally dropped..
i truly amaze myself at times...
my apologies to harry... he must have thought i was an odd little fellow...
not far wrong but normally more with it than i was to day..

:roll: which brings me back to the original(?) subject; if you dont have pic's , do you have a price ,so I can work out the best/ cheapest way arounds these step thingys,4wd have the fold out/down ,whatever in there cat. for $60 each side but would prefer something a little more substantial ,mite also help as brush guards!!?? style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif 8)

you are uncanny
i dug out tthe support plates that bolt to the outriggers yesterday morning and blow me down you bring it up again later in the day.
these ones are full alloy and go from the first out rigger to the second outrigger,. and are wayyyyyy better than those poxy little lilly pad ones you pull out and step on, that are always getting ripped of.
4 bolts on each side hold the things on, and they are adjustable to some degree.
i will get a pic to you this week. if all goes to plan

:roll: sorry to harp on about it ,but thought you mite have forgotten about them.I must have esp or something cause I have been doing the same thing with BB ,eg;chat room, newsletter,anywaywhenever ,whatever, just that if I make this beast more missus friendly, I'll have a better chance of getteing it on road quicker!! :roll:

tho i must admit i had not given it any more thought scine i dug out 2 of the support brackets a couple of weeks ago.

:roll: couldnt help myself ,went back to see where all the posts had gone and found this blast from the past,what makes me laugh is the fact that i finally got the side steps from unca inc and now they are in the same position as they were at his place ,sitting in the corner waiting to be fitted ,

I've got a pile of parts like that, after I sold the subaru a whole corner of the garage was cleared up when I chucked the extra bits out :oops:
