View Full Version : someone had a problem with the front runner Aux fuel tank in the puma

Who was it????

I was thinking it may have been Mahn it was either early this year or late last year I think

someone came on and found a rubbing issue with the front runner tank in the rear quarter, who had, had it fitted for sometime so thought they should point it out so people could check...

I think it may of happened to mine can anyone remember the thread as I cant find it:(

Not me Lou...apart from filling with a Hi-flow pump causing an issue with the fuel gauge.

No I dont think so from memory it wasn't someone who had just installed but had a tank fitted for sometime...and happened to notice that there was some rubbing that had started..when I think they could of been looking at something else...

I think they may of found it before it had become an issue.

Tyre rub? Or something else? I know they get rubbed by 255/85/16s?

Someone has just pm'd me saying that they think they recall it possibly being scallops so I will flick him a pm if he doesn't see this thread first

I had a drama with the fuel pipe OL fitted....they used way to short a length (according to MR Automotive who fixed it), so it was always bent severely and eventually failed. It's all good now - MR fitted a heavy duty longer fuel specific rubber pipe and they say it will not happen again. :)
