Loose Lead/Plug Near Distributor

Hi guys ,

Anyone know what the Loose ( Shiny Black Lead) with a plug on the end is? Its floating near my Distributor over the back of my engine on my 2000 Discovery 2 ???? Should it be plugged in somewhere ???? Hard to see if its come off somewhere . :)

Discovery 2s don't have a distributor! (unless it's been seriously mucked about with.)

If the car runs OK the plug will be for an accessory not fitted to your model.
