This post collates a lot of the various 101's I've been looking at when considering reverse lights. Obviously to those with them fitted it may be no use but for those importing 101's and needing to get them registered it might be useful.
I'm still in two minds on which way to go, original looking or scrap the round lights and go a generic NARVA type LED unit like this:
https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2013/10/445.jpg
The benefits of the NARVA units is that they satisfy all legal rear light requirements in one unit as opposed to three, but not sure if they take away from the look or not. I guess its mostly personal. They also have the reflectors etc required.
So there's obviously a common fit out for the ex Aussie Military units but Rons shows how the rectangular units look. Seeing the HH's rear wheel carrier also makes me think twice as I want to do a similar spare wheel carrier for mine eventually, so I need to consider how that will mount too. It will probably be cheapest to simply fit a reflector and reverse lamp like the aussie sourced 101's to start off with as I have the original lamps still.
A couple of setups I've found o far:

I am now running LED square type rear lights.........much brighter and the reversing rear light does improve things reversing at night.
It should be noted I have seen just the last weekend a light weight series three landy running new indicator /stop/tail and reversing lights all in the original style British /Nato type.( ie three across each side)
I run a LED globe in the front 101/nato style clearance /parking light.......much, much brighter.

Got a pic of your latest setup? Any new lights I put on will definitely be LED's. I've seen the latest NARVA ones fitted to a number of utes now and they are quite impressive.
Where did you source your LED globe replacements for the original lights?

Check out the last little vid in 101 section for vids.........shows the front clearance lights with the LED globes very well and how much brighter they are over standard.
Shows the rear LED combo light fitted, but not really working.

I think I am running a standard Narva Slimline unit which is a straight replacement for the Narva globe combo light assy.
Either way LED globes in the British Nato type lights or a modern replacement combo LED light both works well.
I will take some pics of the rear lights when I get a chance.

Bum steer on the Narva slim line combo light , but it is a product I purchased from Ashdowns
Automotive Electrical Accessories Catalogue 2012 (http://www.emagcloud.com/ashdown/Automotive_Electrical_Accessories_Catalogue_2012/index.html#/78/)
If one part of it fails you can just replace that part of it, not the whole thing.
To be frank, if you want to up grade, just up grade to LED type globes and save cash and keep it original.
The set up you have looks good.

Well, here's my simple effort, just for the visit to the pits. Two cheep Narva side markers that are ADR compliant for reversing with the larger globes fitted. Only wanted something temporary as plan to tidy all this up when I make the swing away wheel carriers.

Well I think the originals look the best - anything else looks crap on a 101.:wasntme:

I've been thinking about placing the reversing lights inboard of the bumperettes temporarily, centred over each of the tow ring top bolts for the cable to be run and simply sticking them on with body trim tape until I do the same with a tyre carrier (the tow rings wouldn't be fitted obviously). The only issue I see with that is if the authorities think they are too far inboard, but so far I've not found any regs around minimum distance apart etc.

Had the same thought, but didn't want to bore a hole into the rear xmember with something that I plan to do better at a later date...

The daylight running lights look good, my only problem is having never been over pits before I have no idea how anal the inspectors get when it comes to adr approved non-standard fittings (i.e. stuff that hasn't come from factory). Definitely something to consider once its on the road though.

I hadn't thought about using LED globes in the originals... Mine are all a bit average which is why I was thinking of using NAS replacements... Similar but slightly different.. Where did you get that pic, and are the original fit still available at sensible money? If so, I'd buy 4 indicators, four front side lights and two rear side/tail lights.. Cheers.:)

Available - yes. Sensible money... That's up or debate. At around 30 quid for the lamp and 7 for the base, it would add up really quickly doing the whole vehicle.
