Gday All,

I will leave it up to you guys to work out amoungst yourselves if you can get an order together and 1 person to be the point of consignment, as I dont like asking 1 person to put their hand up without realising if it will get support.

So I need a minimum of 70kgs and sent as 1 invoice and 1 consignment ( same as last year )

Will offer the following.

Tiger Prawns u/10 ( XL-Large) 3kg box $72

Endeavour Prawns U/15 (large ) 3kg box = $53

Endeavour Prawns 10/20 (medium) 3kg box $43

Bugs Whole 1kg bag $16

So its now upto you guys to decide if you can get together and put in an order.

Will look at sending this Tuesday 3-12 . Will go to Subzero coldstores as per last year , so would arrive Melbourne 9th

As always, check local prices as I have to build freight charges into the price.

Cheers Ean.

With how early in December I want to send this, I would think close off date of monday 25th November, so I can Invoice the consignee and $$ can be transfered and cleared by the freight date.

I will leave it to the designated person if they are happy to close off earlier or later, but I would look at it being somewhere around that date.

Cheers Ean

Endeavour Prawns 10/20 (medium) 3kg box X 3 = $129

Total of 27kg at $504

Hope the others come along soon and chip in for the min 70kg's. :D:D

I am interested in a box but as I run a "one man show" business, pick up time colud be an issue, especially leading up to christmas.

Anyone know how it has worked in the past?

We all meet at the Brooklyn cold storage depot to collect but if you cant make it some one who lives nearby might be able to collect for you.

I'll ask around here at work as i'm sure there will be some takers.

Are you going to stick with a close off date of 25 Nov as Ean suggested at the start of the thread?
If you can PM me account details I'll transfer the money sooner rather than later (SWMBO would neuter me if she missed out 'cos I didn't pay in time  ).

FWIW it was 2.45pm last year.

The 12-2pm window suits me best, but both myself and my wife are working within about 15mins of the pickup point at present so no drama if it has to be outside those times (one or other of us will be able to get there).

Since you're the one who needs to get the consignment out of the store, most importantly the time has to fit with you !!

OK. Not sure what happened to Wednesday's truck outta Adelaide but I just got a call from sub zero cold storage and they have the consignment there now! :D

He suggested that Thursday pick up isn't ideal because they tend to be quite busy through the whole day (7am - 3pm) with trucks etc coming and going and in the limited space of their car park we might be in the way a bit.

So how does everyone feel about tomorrow, say 2pm? Afternoon is better than morning according to sub zero.

Given that its only about 24hrs from now, probably a good idea to get an SMS out to everyone in case people have to make work arrangements etc.

I'm about 10 mins away from subzero (work in Altona North) so could grab a large esky and some ice if anyone can't make it until later in the afternoon. They'd just need to pick up from me before about 6pm.
Need to know tonight if that's the case.

Need to know tonight if that's the case.

Steve

If you grab them just put it in the esky WITHOUT any ice as they will stay frozen , if you add ice they will thaw faster as the ice is only about -2 whereas they should be atleast -18.

Just put them in the esky and close the lid.

Cheers Ean

so could grab a large esky and some ice if anyone can't make it until later in the afternoon.
Esky yes, ice no.
There is a post on last years pickup about that.

Edit: What he said.

Thank you Mick, Ean and Steve,

Mrs Slug got there in the end. Thanks Steve for the nice clear directions for Mrs Slug to find your work place.

Lets hope the freezer doesn't have a hissy fit this year.
