Can anyone tell me how long an overdrive is, because I may have a space issue with my exhaust.

Don't know yet, but I think that it is a fairey.

I might have to get the exhaust modified, because it turns in pretty close to the rear of the transfer case, fortunately there is plenty of space to move it to one side, bummer about having to pay to do it though.

well i just had a peek under mine and my toro extends the gearbox housing by 210mm

and the toro is supposedly about the same length but with a much bigger sump and front drive gear.

THe answer would seem to be a Fairey overdrive, i'll have a look in the morning and see if it will fit, or how close it will be.

Do you think that there could be problems with extra heat because of having the exhaust clode to the overdrive?

my exhaust is about 3 inches away from my toro and doesnt seem to unduly affect it.
