You start raiding your "Broken Land Rover parts" box in order to make an anniversary present  :wasntme:
If you don't hear from me next week then you know why :p

Don't worry Muppet, my wife was really happy when I gave her a non-functioning starter motor for our 19th wedding anniversary this year.
Or at least, I assume she was happy. She didn't mention any displeasure at all in the ten days that she didn't speak to me.

Well it's not like I'm JUST giving her an old universal joint, I made it into something she'd like.
And no, no pics. I'd never live it down :p

How do you turn an old Uni into a diamond ring?

I've got two secrets:
1. Never tell anyone everything you know ;)
Or rather...
Duct tape, cable ties, and some really bad soldering :lol2:

That reminds me, I had better get the stereo in the wife's Disco mounted into the dash a bit better, before she gets back from Christmas Island. :whistling:
Only four sleeps to go! :clap2:

I reached the point where I had a complete series 2 in parts under the house. Parents were well impressed. Not.

Pics? Not a chance :p
My man card is still in tatters after admitting I drive an echo :p
However, it comprised of:
1 X universal joint
1 X bearing cap
2 lengths of fencing wire
lots of electrical tape
Some copper wiring
Some solder
3 guitar strings
And one happy girlfriend
As for parts under the house... I'm still trying to figure out where to keep an 85 Rangie..... :D

Yes. I thought at first it was a self assemble vibrator. But I couldn't see where the fencing wire would come into it......so to speak.

I'm not going to make a present that results in my position becoming redundant.
So to speak.

Hmmm...
I like the way you think but no, it's not that :p
I'd need substantially more broken parts to make one of those...
Probably a better soldering iron too.
