Hay all,

TRying to find out which spring relocating cones to use. Was thinking of using the these? OR these plastic ones

Thoughts??

Could you put up some pics of your own cars as well would be grand!

If you like the Terrafirma metal ones, go for the proper job and get Gwyn Lewis cones. They are what Terrafirma copied, but better.

They aren't quite as blingy, as they are galvanised, not the pretty zinc plating that Terrafirma uses.

Cheaper too. I'll vouch for the quality of the Gwyn Lewis stuff.

Be careful about picking items off the Challenge kit list. It gets all too heady and you may lose yourself. :D

I priced the Gwyn cones and I got quoted 75 pounds for delivery so all up they would cost around $190. Where you can get the TF without the hook for $100? Is the hook design worth it as I don't think it would be required unless you have more than a 2" extended shocks.

Or better yet fully retain the springs, save money and enjoy the extra stability offroad.

Yeah, I have the Terrafirmas and I can't say the quality is exactly top notch. It's not bad, but not brilliant.
