Warbirds Downunder.

Anybody else from the Forum going to the "Warbirds Downunder" show at Temora next Saturday, 2/11/2013?:D:D

We have booked in and looking forward to the show, if anybody else is going I would like to meet and greet!!!:D:D. Being interested in photography I am anxious to get some good photo's of the old aeroplanes.:D:D

I'm going in convoy with "cookey", there are a few people from AMVCS/KVE going from Sydney. Also a few military vehicle enthusiasts from Victoria and around Tumut.

There will be a military vehicle display along the eastern side of runway 18/36 behind the general viewing area. (To the south of where "Connie" will be parked.)

I would love to have gone to this but it is my mother-in-laws 70th birthday celebration that same weekend and I fear that my life will be made hell on earth for many months to come if I make the wong choice............:(

My original plan was to do a day trip. Basically fly into Melbourne, hop on the DC-3 flight to the show and spend the day there. Afterwards take the DC-3 back to Melbourne and then fly home. Unfortunately life is never simple (other commitments came up) and my plans got shelved. Oh well, better luck next year I guess!

Unfortunately Warbirds Downunder is every two years. They do however have regular flying days with their war birds.

My daughter lives nearby, which gives me somewhere to roll out the swag, so I'll be there.
