why is the perentie rear diff cover plate painted white?

It's lit up for night convoy work so you should see a little lamp under the body somewhere.

its illuminated by a light that is up under the chassis to the side of the spare wheel....this light turns on when you select 'reduced' lighting (not sure about black out lighting) so that the vehicle following can see you.....when in convoy chasing the badies

why does a rabbit have a white tail.The Perentie has a white diff cover and a light just above it when black out lights are deployed it shines on the cover so the next driver in convoy can follow
