Has anyone installed one of these?

DefenderVENT - Interior Trim - Products (http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/interior-trim/defendervent.html)

Looks like a good idea, but:

1. Does it actually do a better job at demisting the front windscreen?
2. Does it work in demisting the side windows?
3. Can it be installed without ripping the car apart ?
4. Is it worth the money?

There will be many people who have more knowledge than me on this subject, but it is my understanding in England you need to have these on you car to get the MOT, so I am assuming that they do work. But like I said I am no expert on this subject

This is not an MOT requirement as even LR would have remembered to do it if it was.

What I remember was that the police were going to start issuing fines for people who drive with front windows fogged up. Then I saw an add somewhere relating to this and it said somewhere to do with getting an MOT with these. That is all I can remember

Hi Vlad , when I brought my td5 the heater fan would run , but not much warm air was coming up the windscreen vent , so took the dash off for a look , and the plastic piping had shrank back not making connection . I used a short piece of wait pipe to make an extension , and It made It work fine . I allways thought that to much heat went up the screen , and if It could be taped into , you could put a facing vent or a side vent , so now you have one , I can tell you this will work just fine . I did think about searching around a wreakers to see if I could find some sort of vents that I could use , but never did , so there you go off the shelf , If you go down that road let us know how you get on , all the best jimr1 :)
