Depression sets in.....

Hello,
Replaced the head gasket on my TD5 and now seems like it is running on 4 cylinders.......there is a tiny little bit of a tappet noise only at tick over would that a lifter isn't working ?? , taking the rocker off tomorrow morning to have a look, any ideas how to determine which one isn't working ?? I suppose i will have to remove the head again. will check the injector codes as well.

Hello,
(again thanks everybody for the input) All injector balance is within 6 either side of minus all injectors okay disconnected all sensors except the crank sensor and plugged them in one at a time replaced the MAF with a very clean old one went much better, found that the MAP temp is working but the pressure is not so will have a look at that now, the thing which I am wondering is that I put 5w-30w is this to thick ??? instead of my usual 0w-30w anybody ????? would this make it nosily at tick over remember that it hasn't run in about 4 months.....so not used to the sound anymore..
